Fairy House
9"x 9"x 12"
After designing the concept for this fairy house, I sculpted it out of bake-able polymer clay and painted it with acrylic paints. I wanted to create an inviting home that represents the real-life nature a fantastical creature like a fairy might use in the creation of their home. The home is a giant acorn with a sunflower petal and oak leaf roof embellishment.
Below you can see some photos of the process of creating this sculpture, along with my concept drawing and inspiration.

Ferret Character Maquette
5"x 5"x 7"
After designing this ferret character, I sculpted him out of bake-able polymer clay and painted it with acrylic paints. My goal was to create something new, but use an old thrifted item as the base armature.
